A principios de ese mes, se dio a conocer la lista de nominados de la entrega numero 53 de los Grammy Awards.

Eminem encabeza la lista con 10 nominaciones, incluyendo Álbum del Año, Canción del Año y Record del Año.

Otros artistas que obtuvieron grandes nominaciones: Bruno Mars con siete, y Lady Gaga y el grupo country Lady Antebellum con seis cada uno.
